These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the rental of jet skis and related services provided by Riverland Jetski Hire. By booking or renting a jet ski from us, you agree to the following terms:
1. General Terms

1.1 Eligibility: Renters must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
1.2 Booking & Payment: All bookings must be made in advance through our website or by phone. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon.
1.3 Reservation Confirmation: Your reservation will be confirmed once payment has been processed. If a booking is canceled or modified, we will confirm the changes via email or phone.
2. Rental Period

2.1 Duration: Jet skis are available for rent for specified time periods, including hourly or daily rates. The rental period begins at the time of pick-up and ends at the agreed-upon return time.
2.2 Late Return: If the jet ski is returned late, you may be subject to additional charges based on the rental rate for the extra time used.
3. Safety Requirements

3.1 Life Jackets: All renters and passengers must wear a life jacket at all times while operating the jet ski. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the termination of the rental agreement without a refund.
3.2 Safety Briefing: A safety briefing is mandatory for all renters before departing. This briefing will cover the proper operation of the jet ski and safety procedures.
3.3 Operator Responsibility: Renters are responsible for the safe operation of the jet ski. Failure to follow safety instructions, reckless driving, or riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and no refund.
4. Damage and Liability

4.1 Damage: Renters are responsible for any damage to the jet ski during the rental period. If the jet ski is returned damaged or in an unsatisfactory condition, the renter will be charged for repairs or replacement.
4.2 Liability: Riverland Jetski Hire is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property resulting from the use of the jet ski. Renters agree to indemnify and hold harmless Riverland Jetski Hire, its employees, and affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising from their use of the rental equipment.
4.3 Insurance: Insurance coverage is available for an additional fee. Renters who choose not to purchase insurance will be fully responsible for any damages incurred during the rental period.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled rental time will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the rental time are non-refundable.
5.2 Weather Conditions: If the weather conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., severe storms, high winds), Riverland Jetski Hire reserves the right to cancel the booking. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or an option to reschedule.
6. Conduct and Use
6.1 Prohibited Use: Renters agree not to use the jet ski for illegal activities, including but not limited to racing, towing other vessels or people, or operating the jet ski in restricted areas.
6.2 Respect for Others: Renters must respect other water users. Reckless or dangerous behavior that endangers the safety of others may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and no refund.
7. Changes to Terms
7.1 Riverland Jetski Hire reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to all future bookings.
8. Governing Law
8.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction], and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
